Sandblasting comparison between normal spray paint with powder coated . The black can using three layer of normal spray painting and the grey one using a one layer of powder coat. Each item tested preparation using the same process, degreasing, outgassing, and sandblasting. The sandblaster use in this video was using pressure pot 90psi at 30 cfm of air flow and the media used is aluminium oxide. This test proved that powder coating is far more superior and durable compare to traditional painting.
